Going Riding!!!

We went to our friends house at the river and went riding up in the hills! Amanda loves to ride her quad and she had a blast. Our friends Melanie and Rick got a new toy and got to try it out! It was so much fun. Amanda is a little dare devil and it is stressful watching her go up and down the big hills but she does a great job.

Dinner and Friends

We went to dinner with some of our friends and had the greatest time. We went to dinner first at TAPS Brewery and then to this piano bar called "At My Place". It is a dueling piano bar and they sing songs that you request and bring you up and sing to you.

Suzanne's 40th B-Day Party

We went to my friend Suzanne's 40th Birthday party. We had to dress up like the 1940's which was a little challenging trying to find something to wear. But we did our best. Everyone looked great and we had a great time.

Disneyland

Amanda and I went to Disneyland together. We had a mommy and daughter day! We had so much fun. Amanda is still a little scared of roller coasters but we went on the one in toon town and she loved it. So we are hoping she will go on Space Mountain next time we go!

We just hung out in our neighborhood this year for New Years and had a great time with our friends and neighbors. 2008 was a good year but I am looking forward to 2009 being even better. Happy New Year.

Merry Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas this year! Amanda got spoiled as usual and had fun opening her presents. She got her American Girl Doll that she asked Santa for so she was very excited. Her friend Carissa got one also so they have fun playing together. I love the holidays but they are a lot of work.

Amanda turns 10 Years old

We went to Disneyland to celebrate Amanda's 10th Birthday. I can't believe she is growing up so fast. We went with all of our friends and had the best time. She told me that this is her first decade. That makes her sound older and I took it a little hard. They had such a great time at Disneyland.

Lighting of the Mission Inn

We have been going to the lighting of the Mission Inn the last few years. The Mission Inn is decorated so beautiful for Christmas and the night of the lighting they have fireworks. The kids love it!

Thanksgiving

On Thanksgiving we went to Brian's parents house to eat and then we went to my mom's to visit the family and see Grandma, Aunt Suzanne, Amy and Zackary! Amnada and Zack played and had so much fun together.

Wicked

I surprised Amanda and took her to see Wicked! We went to the Pantages Theater in Los Angeles and she was so surprised. The play was amazing! Everyone should go see it.

Laughlin

We went to Laughlin to celebrate my mom's 55th Birthday! She is a senior citizen now. Ha Ha!!! But she acts like she is 21 still. We got to visit Uncle Harold and Aunt Nancy! We had a blast.

On Halloween this year we had went trick or treating around our neighborhood and had some friends and family come over for some food and drinks! Amanda was an adorable bumble bee and she had such a wonderful time with her friends. They all looked so cute!

Amanda's 1st Softball Game!!!

Amanda had her 1st softball game and played so good. The name of her team is the Silver Bullets and her coaches are great. This is the first sport she has played and is loving it! She was real nervous at first but now she is playing like a pro. She takes after her dad with the sports stuff! She takes after mom with the shopping!

Our trip to Chico

Amanda and I went to Chico to visit our family this summer. We got to see my Grandma Dody, Aunt Suzanne, and my cousins Amy and Lisa and their families. Amanda was so excited to spend time with her cousins Jillian, Allison and Zackary. We don't get to see them that often and I want Amanda to see them more. My cousins Amy and Lisa are like the sisters I never had and I love them so much! My grandmother is one of my best friends. She isn't like most grandmas! She is so much fun to be with.

Dave & Allisons Wedding

We went to our friends wedding in La Quinta on September 6, 2008. It was a small wedding with close friends and family. The wedding was beautiful and Allison and Dave looked so happy.

Amanda's first day of school!

August 25th was Amanda's first day of 4th grade! She was so excited to be a 4th grader. She has a great teacher this year and is happy that she got this teacher. I can't believe that our baby is already in 4th grade already, where has the time gone!!!!
